Spring: A great time to see the natural beauty of Montana as animals and plants are starting their lives new again. Baby deer and chicks are just being born and both wildflowers and our domestic flowers begin to bud.
Summer: Even in Northwest Montana our summers are warm and full of sunshine! The days are very long, trees are full and green, the flowers are in full bloom, and baby birds are making their appearance. Because we are so far away from any population centers, we donít have any city lights competing with our night skies making star gazing an activity anyone can enjoy. Swimming, boating, water-skiing, fishing, and hiking are just a few of the many activities you can enjoy during the hot summer months.
Autumn: Our Indian Summer lasts a long time. The Fall colors are absolutely beautiful and the days are still warm enough to enjoy hiking, fishing, and other outdoor activities. Hunting season opens and tags can be bought for deer, elk, mountain lion, and many other big game animals. Even entire flocks of wild turkey can be seen wandering our property.
Winter: The snowy months in Northwest Montana are just as gorgeous as the growing season. Great downhill skiing is available just 15 miles up the road, and cross-country skiing is available right outside our door! There are miles a snowmobile trails in the area, or you can just enjoy making snowmen and caves out in the fields. Ice fishing derbies are also a local favorite.
